ABOUT US
Mrs. Anne Sajeev, the Managing Director of Aroma Group is the prime visionary behind Fragrant Nature Film Creations. Anne and her better half, Sajeev are both movie enthusiasts at heart with a special ardency for classic movies and have always wanted to venture into the realm of filmmaking. Anne gauged the potentials of employing movies as a tool to reach the society and create a dialogue.
She believes that movies should create a positive impact in the viewer, which extends to the society, if not a reformation or revolution. Unlike Carnatic music, traditional dance forms or dramatics which insist on in-depth knowledge of the subject, pedagogy and the intricacies of the art, the flexibility of the audio-visual medium, the ease in comprehending and the overall mass appeal makes cinema a common man's means of entertainment.
A sound story line, rendered through a simple narrative, aided with the right measure of appeal, which irrevocably instigates the onlooker to relish, and retrospect is the aim of Fragrant Nature Film Creations. Apart from being a channel of recreation, Ann believes in seeding the projects under Fragrant Nature Film Creations to carry an element of deeper intent that blossoms as a social awakening.

This yearning for meaningful cinema prompted Fragrant Nature Film Creations to produce Director Blessy's "Pranayam" in 2009. The thread of Pranayam touched Anne and Sajeev on a very personal level wherein they could relate and empathise with many junctures in the story. The impact and personal touch that the plot rendered, urged them to conjoin with Blessy in taking the project forward.
Pranayam is more like a scraped out chapter from the several veiled corners of life that many people were able to recount. The enigmatic beauty of relationships that are nurtured nameless and the profound emotions encasing an affection that is beyond carnal pleasures was rendered beautifully through the simple narrative of Pranayam. The movie defined ardor that surpasses the superficialities, one that isn't always black or white and where boundaries are blurry making it knotty to bracket emotions under specific tags. The humungous possibilities in which the onlookers were able to correlate with the movie made it a huge success.
Anne still receives calls and people still converse with her about how Pranayam was not merely another film on the silver screen but a portrayal of their kernel itself.
